With a lot size of 2.2 acres, their favorite space, relaxing out on the deck & in the back yard!  The Deck is partially covered providing an outdoor living area and part exposed to feel the warmth on a sunny day.  There is so much I can say...

 

The outdoor space at 2274 W Burns St expands and compliments the interior living spaces.  As with the interior spaces, the homeowners have added detail and charm in creating an outdoor living space that is not only beautiful but also efficient and easy to maintain with a full automatic sprinkler system. The front yard showcases perennial plantings, attractive land scape and a blacktop half circle driveway.

This theme continues into the back yard where the mature landscaping encompasses the yard. Shade trees screen the property to the west, fruit trees to the East, while adding privacy. The North facing backyard features a little something for everyone and for the sake of privacy is accessed through a new electric gate.

Walkout from either the back door or great room/kitchen door.   The lush green lawn provides plenty of open space for pets and owners alike. The tall garden boxes lining the deck, called Earth Boxes, are watered from the bottom and provide a sunny location to grow flowers, or herbs and vegetables right outside the kitchen door, adjacent to the outdoor dining area.  Enjoy the vintage Concord grapes as these vines are over 30 years old and cannot be bought!  Add in some gorgeous old oak barrels for flowers...this back yard becomes a beautiful haven in the summer!

outdoor entertaining space, or just a place to enjoy the serenely quiet summer evenings.  The patio and back yard area are also the perfect place to entertain family and friends for reunions and graduations. In fact, 3 weddings have been held here!  There is plenty of room to place additional furniture for sunbathing and relaxing in the summer months.  For the young at heart there is an in-ground trampoline.  They have played bocci ball and pull the kids on sleds in the winter time.  And then a fire pit for gathering around, adding warmth and ambiance in the evenings…don’t forget the marshmallows!
