Silver Creek Plunge
Silver Creek Plunge is surrounded by mountains, trees, wildlife and Silver Creek, which runs through the middle of the campground. Enjoy camping, cabins, swimming, fishing, hiking, playground, volleyball, basketball and horseshoes, just to name a few. Fishing in Silver Creek is good all summer. Beginning Memorial Day and through Labor Day, Idaho Fish and Game stocks the creek with 8 to 14 inch Rainbow Trout every other week.
Winter road access available by snowmobile.
The pool is open daily from 9:00am-10:00pm, with the exception of Wednesdays, the pool is closed for cleaning and is not open for use until 7:00pm.
Starlight Mountain Theatre
Starlight Mountain Theatre is an outdoor summer playhouse located in the beautiful mountains of Garden Valley, Idaho, on the bank of the Middlefork of the Payette River. The theatre seats 300 patrons in stadium-style bench seats with backs. (The theatres design elevation creates a perfect view from every seat.)
The theatre opens at 7:30pm and shows begin at 8:00pm. Remember, mountain air can get cool in the evening - bring jackets & blankets, just in case. Food, drinks, and snacks are available at the concession stand.

Terrace Lake Resort
Terrace Lakes is home to a championship level 18-hole golf course, available for play from spring to fall. Another active option is a day of tennis on our courts. Go for a hike on a trail accessible right from the resort. Relax and swim after a long day in our geothermal heated pool. The middle fork of the Payette River runs through the area allowing amazing opportunities for kayaking, tubing, canoeing, and fishing. Other Garden Valley favorite activities are camping and whitewater rafting.
During the last weekend in June, Terrace Lakes Resort is home to the annual Wine and Art festival. Over 75 vendors participate in the event held right on the green of our golf course. Enjoy wine tasting and food while listening to the music in the beauty of the Boise National Forest at Terrace Lake Resort. This is a summer tradition you won’t want to miss!
Throughout the winter months, the Garden Valley area transforms into a wonderland of winter play. Rent a cabin and enjoy access to miles of groomed cross country ski trails at Terrace Lakes Resort right from your front door. Ski rentals are available at the lodge. There are snowmobile outfitters in the Garden Valley and access to over 850 miles of trails. Especially fun for families, there is a tubing hill available at Terrace Lakes Resort. Our geothermal pool stays open in the winter, ready for you to soak sore muscles and warm up after a day of fun winter recreation.

Idaho Sleigh Rides
Make a winter day in Garden Valley part of the adventure with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the mountain landscape and the opportunity to view wild elk along the route. Afterward, warm up at the lodge with a complimentary hot drink and snack, or add a Dutch oven dinner with live music for a memorable evening. Seasonal wagon and sleigh rides are also offered for holiday activities and Christmas tree outings. Reservations are required and can be made through Idaho Sleigh Rides or by calling 208-859-2725.
